Joyce Parfitt is an artist living and working in Saddleworth, near Manchester, UK. She is an accomplished artist having painted for most of her life, studied a visual arts degree and exhibited her work in countless exhibitions across the North West of England.

 Joyce spends most of her time painting in her studio or out walking in the English countryside. Walking provides her with the majority of her inspiration material; regular eight+ mile walks around the lake district with a camera rarely fail to produce subject matter for a landscape oil painting. 

Joyce also paints figurative work and nudes from life at her workshop, held in her studio in Delph. Her chosen medium is oil paint on canvas or board but she also uses charcoal and pastels from time to time.
